About us

Millie College

Shaftesbury Millie College is a 16-25+ education setting helping young people with a range of learning and physical disabilities.

Our location sets us apart. Based on a 350-acre countryside site, near Poole, our college curriculum is directly aligned to the natural environment and the enterprise activities that we operate, bridging the gap between education and employment for young people and adults in Dorset and the local area.

Life Skills through Enterprise to Future Pathways

Students have personalised learning programmes which build confidence and independence, supported by a focus on wellbeing.

Aligned to Shaftesbury’s core values, the college proudly supports a range of learner cohorts, each with their own access needs. This could be through physical access, a broad range of sensory and therapeutic stimulus, specialist communication, visuals, auditory, and access infrastructure for more complex cohorts.

Shaftesbury Millie College is part of Shaftesbury Education (click here to read more about this), within this group are a specialist independent school, Shaftesbury Victoria School in Poole, and a specialist college provision, Shaftesbury Nash College, in Bromley.
